May I see your passport?

Who knows how many times I was asked this question over the two months of my progressive study abroad experience in the summer of 2013, but each time I welcomed it with excitement and anxiousness as I stepped into a journey bursting with new opportunities.
With the same enthusiasm, I welcome you to my site in which I archive the research and stories of my journey across the globe through the gates of Morocco, Turkey and Sri Lanka during the summer of 2013.
I share this experience through three blogs, one for daily events or travel experience, one for peace journalism research and my internship and the third to capture the flavor and aesthetics of the unforgettable food I tasted. The gallery tab is a collection of photos, which captures eclectic moments from the journey. The spring research page sums up the coursework and research preparation our cohort explored the semester before our trip. The fall research page explains the turn my peace journalism research took after my international adventure, which is embodied as a media business proposal.
No passport is needed to share this trek with me. I aspired to bring every aspect of these travels alive through this site, and I hope you enjoy the portal to other worlds.

Better than a thousand hollow words, is one word that brings peace.
